TRAFFIC ALERT UPDATE: Multiple Roads Reopen in Washington County

Washington County Road Reopen

HAGERSTOWN, MD (January 11, 2024) – As of 10:15 a.m., the Washington County Highway Department announces the following roads have reopened after being temporarily closed due to high water:

  • Ashton Road
  • Wishard Road
  • Independence Road

The following roads remain closed:

  • Cresspond Road
  • Kemps Mill Road at the old mill

The County encourages all citizens to remain off the roads listed above. Citizens are also advised to refrain from driving through standing water.
