Washington County Forty West Landfill Now Able to Accept Credit Card Payments

HAGERSTOWN, MD (January 11, 2024) – The Washington County Government Solid Waste Department informs the public that the issues with the credit system have been resolved and credit card payments can now be accepted at the Forty West Landfill, located at 12630 Earth Care Road, Hagerstown, Maryland.

We thank you for your patience as our staff worked swiftly and diligently to resolve the issues with the credit card system.

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.
