HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 5, 2021) – Washington County Highway Department announces Independence Road from Route 40 to the F.O.P. Lodge will be closed from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for debris removal on the following days:
 
  • Wednesday, October 6th
  • Thursday, October 7th
  • Monday, October 11th
  • Tuesday, October 12th
  • Wednesday, October 13th
  • Thursday, October 14th
 
The County encourages drivers to proceed with caution while in this area.
