HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 1, 2019) – The Washington County Highway Department announces a road closure on Independence Road from Rt. 40 to Rockdale Road and to the FOP Lodge. The road will be closed on Wednesday, October 2, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. for pipe replacement.
