HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 2, 2024) – The Washington County Highway Department announces an extension to the road closure on Broadfording Road at the bridge over the Conococheague Creek. This closure will be extended until Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 4:00 pm to continue the removal of debris on the bridge and surrounding areas.
During this time, we urge all residents and commuters to exercise caution when traveling near the work zone. Please adhere to all posted signage and drive safely to ensure the safety of both workers and fellow road users. Your cooperation during this maintenance period is greatly appreciated.
