Washington County Landfill Closing at Noon

HAGERSTOWN, MD (February 20, 2019) – Washington County Department of Solid Waste would like to announce 40 West Landfill and all transfer stations will be closing at noon on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 due to weather and road conditions. All stations will return to normal operating hours on Thursday, February 21, 2019 unless otherwise indicated.

The County encourages those who must travel to exercise caution while on all roadways.
