Marty Snook Pool to Open Memorial Day

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 22, 2025) – Washington County Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the official opening of the Marty Snook Pool for the 2025 summer season.

Due to the forecasted inclement weather over the weekend, the pool will not open on Saturday or Sunday as originally anticipated. Instead, the community is invited to kick off the summer at Marty Snook Pool on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

During the initial opening weekends, the pool will be open from noon until 6:00 p.m. Beginning Monday, June 9, 2025, Marty Snook Pool will be open seven (7) days a week. The pool’s operating hours will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from noon until 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

2025 Swimming Pool Fees **CASH ONLY**:

  • Pre-K: $3.00
  • Student K-12: $4.00
  • Adults: $5.00
  • Senior Citizens: $4.00
  • After 5 PM: $1.00

Season Passes:

  • Family: $175.00 (up to 5 family members, including two adults and three children residing in the same household. Children must be claimed as dependents on income tax forms) Each additional person will be charged $10.00.
  • Adult: $110.00
  • Child: $85.00
