Marty Snook Pool Scheduled to Open to the Public

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 25, 2023) – Washington County Parks and Recreation announces Marty Snook Pool will open to the public starting Saturday, May 27, 2023. The pool will offer a wide range of amenities and exciting activities for visitors of all ages.

During the initial opening weekend, on Saturday, May 27, 2023, and Sunday, May 28, 2023, as well as on Saturday, June 3, 2023, and Sunday, June 4, 2023, the pool will be open from noon until 6:00 p.m. Beginning Saturday, June 10, 2023, Marty Snook Pool will be open seven (7) days a week. The pool’s operating hours will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from noon until 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

2023 Swimming Pool Fees **CASH ONLY**:

  • Pre-K: $3.00
  • Student K-12: $4.00
  • Adults: $5.00
  • Senior Citizens: $4.00
  • After 5 PM: $1.00

Season Passes:

  • Family: $175.00 (up to 5 family members, including two adults and three children residing in the same household. Children must be claimed as dependents on income tax forms) Each additional person will be charged $10.00.
  • Adult: $110.00
  • Child: $85.00

Reservations for 2023 Swimming Pool Socials are now being accepted. The pool at Marty Snook Park can be rented on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. For more information or to make a reservation, please call 240-313-2700. Please note that payment is due in full at the time of reservation.

  • 0-75 Swimmers: $225.00
  • 75-150 Swimmers: $300.00
