Girls Youth Volleyball League 🏐

HAGERSTOWN, MD (September 11, 2023) – The Washington County Parks and Recreation Department is offering Girl’s Youth Volleyball League for grades 2-8. This league will teach volleyball skills and improve techniques in a competitive environment. Participants will be led in technique drills during weekly practices as well as games on Saturday mornings (Games will start Sat. Dec 9th).

After team selection night, all registered players will be assigned a team. Players assigned coach will be in contact with first practice information. Practices will begin the week of Nov 6th. Practice and game schedules will be distributed to each participant at their first practice.

Each 2nd grade and 3-5th grade team will be scheduled for practice for 1 hour on Tuesday’s and each 6-8th grade team will practice for 1 hour on Thursday’s. Please note: practice times will differ each week from 6-7pm,7-8pm or 8-9pm. League games will be for 1 hour on Saturday mornings starting Dec 9th. No equipment is necessary. Sneakers must be worn and please bring a drink.

Registrations will be accepted on a first-come/first-serve basis, spots are limited, so do not wait to register! All players must be pre-registered prior to team selection night. No spots will be held without registration and payments. NO REFUNDS will be given. All players will receive a team t-shirt so be sure to indicate T-SHIRT SIZE when you register.
