HAGERSTOWN, MD (November 12, 2019) – Washington County Board of County Commissioners announce that effective immediately, Kirk C. Downey will fulfill the role of Interim County Administrator. This appointment was made upon the resignation of County Administrator Robert Slocum. The Chief Financial Officer will now report directly to the Board.
