Non-Essential Washington County Government Offices Closed Monday, January 26

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD (January 25, 2026)  Due to the anticipated impacts of the ongoing winter storm, all non-essential Washington County Government offices and facilities will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026.

This closure is being implemented to protect the safety of employees and the public amid hazardous travel conditions and potential impacts from snow and ice.

Essential services, including public safety, emergency response, and critical operations, will continue as scheduled.

Residents are encouraged to monitor official Washington County Government communication channels, including the County website, local media, and social media platforms, for updates regarding any additional service impacts.

Washington County Government appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation as crews continue to respond to winter weather conditions.
