BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS RECOGNIZE PURCHASING MONTH 2022
HAGERSTOWN, MD (March 22, 2021) – The Washington County Board of County Commissioners recognized the Purchasing Department by presenting a proclamation in honor of March being named Purchasing Month by Governor Larry Hogan.
 
Staff from Purchasing were recognized for their significant role in the quality, efficiency, and profitability of business and government throughout Washington County, Maryland. Purchasing professionals make important contributions to assure the efficient use of taxpayer dollars by proving efficient service while maintaining the highest standards and are responsible for managing and monitoring millions of dollars worth of goods and services every year.

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.
