RISE UP BUSINESS STABILIZATION GRANT – APPLY TODAY!
HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 8, 2020) – The Washington County Department of Business Development encourages small businesses in Washington County, Maryland that meet the criteria for the Rise Up Business Stabilization Grant to submit your application. Applications will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2020. Last week the County received approximately 300 applications, with 36 grants awarded, totaling over $356,000 distributed to local businesses.
As a local small business, River City Dental of Williamsport was recently notified they had been awarded a grant from the Rise Up Business Stabilization grant program. They team said, “The team at River City Dental sincerely appreciates your efforts and thanks you for this grant money. It will allow us to continue to serve our dental families.”

Applications will be accepted electronically and can be downloaded at www.washcorises.net. Details for submission are stated on the application. The website also provides guidelines, application instructions, and answers to frequently asked questions.
The Department of Business Development has partnered with the City of Hagerstown Department of Community and Economic Development, to administer this grant program that is funded by the CARES Act. For specifics on terms and conditions of the grant program, please visit the Economic Recovery section at www.washcorises.net.
