Precautionary Boil Advisory Lifted for Town of Sharpsburg Water System

HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 25, 2019) – The Washington County Department of Water Quality announces the precautionary boil advisory that impacted the residents of East Main Street with addresses higher than 211 is hereby rescinded following the successful permanent repairs made to the main water line. The satisfactory completion of the bacteriological survey confirms that the water is now safe for use and consumption for the entire Town of Sharpsburg Water System.
