Washington County Provides Update on Operations and Storm Recovery Efforts

HAGERSTOWN, MD (April 22, 2025) – While most Washington County Government operations and services have returned to normal following recent storm damage, some areas and facilities continue to experience limited impacts.

EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

The Washington County Office of Emergency Management continues to advise the public on proper procedures following recent storm impacts.

If a road is completely impassable, residents are asked to call the non-emergency number at 240-313-4345 to report the issue. However, if a road is passable by at least one vehicle, please do not call.

Please do not call Emergency Management or 911 to ask about power restoration. These lines must remain open for emergencies only.
