Hagerstown, MD (June 10, 2025) – Washington County Transit (WCT) is excited to announce the reintroduction of real-time passenger information through the Passio GO! application. This innovative technology empowers our riders with up-to-the-minute information about transit schedules, vehicle locations, and service updates, allowing for a more seamless travel experience throughout Washington County.
As part of our commitment to enhancing mobility for our customers, the Passio GO! app allows users to track their buses in real time, receive alerts about delays or changes in service, and access route information from the convenience of their smartphones. This initiative aligns with WCT’s mission to provide safe, affordable, dependable, and accessible mass transportation options for everyone in our community.

WCT operates thirteen fixed urban routes originating in Hagerstown, serving areas including Funkstown, Halfway, Long Meadow, Maugansville, Robinwood, Smithsburg, and Williamsport. With an average total ridership of over 500,000 passenger trips annually and over 500,000 miles traveled, WCT is dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our community, including providing transportation for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
