Washington County Government Closed for Labor Day

HAGERSTOWN, MD (August 29, 2024) – In observance of Labor Day, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024. County services will operate as listed below:

  • The Hagerstown Regional Airport administrative offices, and the maintenance department, will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024, and reopen on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
  • Airport Terminal Operating Hours:
    • Monday, September 2, 2024: 7:00 am – 10:00 pm
  • Allegiant Air services will continue as scheduled on September 2, 2024:
    • 1:15 pm arrival and 6:36 pm departure for flights to Sanford International Airport (SFB)
    • 5:46 pm arrival and 2:05 pm departure for flights to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR)
  • Washington County Environmental Management offices will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024. All services at Forty West Landfill, and all other transfer stations, will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024, and reopen on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
  • Washington County Transit Services will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2024. All services will resume on Tuesday, September 3, 2024.
  • Marty Snook Pool will be open for its final day of the season on Monday, September 2, 2024.
  • Black Rock Golf Course will be open on Monday, September 2, 2024.
  • Essential public safety services will remain in effect.
