Washington County Government Closed for Juneteenth

HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 17, 2024) – In observance of Juneteenth, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. County services will operate as listed below:

  • The Hagerstown Regional Airport administrative offices and the maintenance department will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, and re-open on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
    • Airport Terminal Operating Hours:
    • Wednesday, June 19, 2024: 7:00 am – 10:00 pm
  • Allegiant Air services will continue as scheduled on June 19, 2024:
    • 8:32 pm arrival and 9:22 pm departure for flights to Orlando/Sanford International Airport (SFB)
  • Washington County Environmental Management offices will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. All services at Forty West Landfill, and all other transfer stations, will be closed on Wednesday, June 19, 2024. All services will resume on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
  • Essential public safety services will remain in effect.
