Washington County Government Closed for Memorial Day

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 22, 2019) – In observance of Memorial Day, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2019. County services will operate as listed below:

  • The Hagerstown Regional Airport terminal and airfield will operate during regularly scheduled business hours. Administrative offices and the maintenance department will be closed.
  • Allegiant air services has a flight on Monday, May 27th with an 8:15 a.m. arrival and 9:00 a.m. departure.
  • Southern Airways Express daily flights to Baltimore-Washington International and Pittsburgh International Airports will operate on schedule.
  • All services at Forty West Landfill and all other transfer stations will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2019. Services will resume on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
  • Essential public safety services will remain in effect.
