Washington County Government Upgrades Website

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 16, 2019) – The Washington County Public Relations and Marketingoffice announces the launching of a website redesign for Washington County Government. The site domain remains the same and can be visited at: www.washco-md.net.

Ignition72 out of Baltimore, Maryland was awarded the bid in January 2018 for a complete redesign of the existing website. The Washington County website includes information regarding the Board of County Commissioners, County divisions and departments, Hagerstown Regional AirportBlack Rock Golf Course, the Agricultural Education Center, and the Rural Heritage Museum.

Danielle Weaver, director of Public Relations and Marketing for Washington County Government says, “The county’s website has become a valuable resource for our citizens and businesses. We have focused on creating a positive and welcoming user-friendly experience. The new website represents a significant step to servicing our citizens by making it easier to share important information with the public. The enhanced site is attractive, and most importantly, citizen-focused. By simplifying and modernizing our website, we have an opportunity to create and sustain positive energy for Washington County, MD and I know citizens are going to love it.”

In addition to the website, Washington County Government remains committed to customer service by offering a new telephone number for citizens to call with questions and inquiries. The new number is 240-313-2776.
