Over 100 attendees from across the state of Maryland and neighboring states of Pennsylvania and West Virginia gathered at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center to participate in the event. The workshop featured 14 speakers that specialize in different aspects of the hemp and/or agriculture industry.
Leslie Hart, Agricultural Business Specialist said, “Wow! The amount of information presented today is applicable to the current hemp harvest and pertinent to the 2020 growing season. The 100+ attendees shows that hemp is a growing business interest gaining local and regional popularity.”
