Planned Training Exercise at Meritus Medical Center

HAGERSTOWN, MD (August 16, 2019) – A planned training exercise is taking place today, Friday, August 16, 2019 from 8:00 – 11:00 a.m., at Meritus Medical Center/Robinwood Professional Center. The public should not be alarmed. This is only a DRILL.

There will be an increased police presence and a large number of emergency responders in the area of the hospital for this DRILL. Please share the message about this DRILL with your neighbors and loved ones to avoid concern and rumors. Signage to help communicate this TRAINING EXERCISE to the public will be on and around the campus as well.

Meritus Medical Center and Robinwood Professional Center are open for business during the TRAINING EXERCISE.

This is a closed exercise for hospital and Robinwood employees and participating community partners only. Media inquiries should be sent to[email protected] with responses to come following the completion of the exercise.
