Labor Day 2025 – Offices Closed

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD (August 28, 2025) – In observance of Labor Day, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025. County services will operate as listed below:

HAGERSTOWN REGIONAL AIRPORT

The Hagerstown Regional Airport administrative offices, and the maintenance department, will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, and reopen on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Airport terminal will be open Monday, September 1, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Allegiant air services will continue as scheduled on June 19, 2025:

  • 11:16 a.m. arrival and 4:36 p.m. departure for flights to Sanford International Airport (SFB)
  • 3:46 p.m. arrival and 12:06 p.m. departure for flights to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR)

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

Washington County Environmental Management offices will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025. All services at Forty West Landfill, and all other transfer stations, will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025. All services will resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

TRANSIT

Washington County Transit Services will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025. All services will resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

BLACK ROCK GOLF COURSE

Black Rock Golf Course will operate as normal on Monday, September 1, 2025.

TREASURER’S OFFICE

Washington County Treasurer’s Office will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025, and re-open on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

PARKS & RECREATION

Marty Snook Pool will be open for its final day of the season on Monday, September 1, 2025.

PUBLIC SAFETY

All essential public safety services will remain in effect.
