Application for Appointment to the Washington County Administrative Charging Committee

Washington County is accepting applications online for appointments to the Administrative Charging Committee as required by Maryland law to review individual police disciplinary investigations and determine whether administrative charges against an officer are appropriate. Qualifications and expectations for ACC members can be found in the Police Accountability Ordinance here: https://www.washco-md.net/wp-content/uploads/ORD-2022-10.pdf . Additionally, new ACC members are required to attend a 40-hour training held by the Police Training and Standards Commission.

Applications will be accepted until May 30, 2025. All applications received will be kept on file for two years for consideration of future vacancies.
