Washington County Treasurer’s Office Temporarily Adjusts Public Hours

HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 25, 2023) – The Washington County Treasurer’s Office announces a temporary change in public hours, from Tuesday, July 25, 2023, to Friday, August 4, 2023. The office will be open to the public from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily while maintaining regular office hours for employees until 4:00 p.m. The temporary change in public hours is due to the influx of tax payments and staffing shortages.

The Treasurer’s Office remains committed to providing excellent service to the residents of Washington County. The adjusted public hours will allow staff members to process tax payments in a timely manner, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of the office.

Citizens are highly encouraged to use the County’s online payment portal at www.washco-md.net.
