TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Closure on MD 68

 
 
HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 23, 2021) – The Washington County Highway Department shares the following information from the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA).
MDOT SHA will be reconstructing a portion of the roadway on MD 68, N. Conococheague Street between Conococheague Creek and US 11, E. Potomac Street. This is part of a $70,000 Areawide Safety and Resurfacing Project. A detour between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, and Wednesday, July 28, 2021, will be utilized while work is performed. It is anticipated to be completed over a two-day period and the roadway will be reopened to traffic at the end of the shift. Please see the detour route below.
