Citizens Encouraged to Participate in Virtual Public Budget Hearing

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 11, 2020) – The Washington County Office of Budget and Finance reminds citizens that a public hearing on the proposed real property tax rate will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2020. The hearing will be conducted virtually, with video-streaming available on Facebook – Washington County Government – Maryland and on YouTube – WashCo Commissioners.
Public testimony is encouraged. Public comment may be submitted up to seven (7) days following the public hearing which is May 21, 2020 by 6:00 p.m.

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.
