Washington County Government Closed for Christmas

HAGERSTOWN, MD (December 18, 2019) – In observance of Christmas, Washington County Government offices will close at noon on Monday, December 23, 2019 and remain closed through Wednesday, December 25, 2019. County services will operate as listed below:
  • The Hagerstown Regional Airport terminal and airfield will operate during regularly scheduled business hours. Administrative offices and the maintenance department will be closed.
  • All services at Forty West Landfill and all other transfer stations will operate on the following schedule:
  • Monday, December 23 – Normal operating hours
  • Tuesday, December 24 – Closed
  • Wednesday, December 25 – Closed
  • Thursday, December 26 – Normal operating hours
  • Washington County Transit Services will operate on the following schedule:
  • Monday, December 23 – Normal transit schedule
  • Tuesday, December 24 – Closing at 4:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 25 – Closed
  • Thursday December 26 – Normal transit schedule
  • Essential public safety services will remain in effect.
