DAYS UNTIL THE EVENT
Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy an evening filled with live entertainment, activities, food, and special programming celebrating 250 years of Washington County history. Families can visit the Kids Zone, enjoy food from local food trucks, and experience live music throughout the evening.
As the celebration draws to a close, attendees will get to experience the highly anticipated drone show followed by a spectacular fireworks display, creating a memorable night in the sky.
Together, these signature moments will provide a fitting evening to remember continuing the County’s 250th Anniversary celebrations—honoring Washington County’s rich heritage, celebrating its vibrant present, and looking toward its bright future as residents and visitors come together for a special evening of community, celebration, and history.
Traffic Plan Information for Washington County’s 250th Celebration
A detailed traffic plan is in place for the September 26 Drone Show & Fireworks. Attendees should expect traffic delays both when arriving and leaving the event. Please review the inbound and outbound traffic maps below, allow extra time, and follow all posted signs and directions from traffic-control personnel and law enforcement.
Inbound Traffic
All event traffic should enter through the Main Gate on Sharpsburg Pike. Follow posted signs and traffic-control personnel, and expect delays as you arrive.
Outbound Traffic
Traffic will exit through designated gates based on parking location. Expect delays as attendees leave, and follow traffic-control personnel and posted directions.
