Reminder: Emergency Management Memorial Brick Campaign Open for Orders Until July 1

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 6, 2026) – The Washington County Office of Emergency Management reminds residents that the 2025 Emergency Services Memorial Brick Campaign is currently underway, offering a meaningful opportunity to honor loved ones and recognize those who have served in emergency services.

Each personalized brick will be placed in the Emergency Services Memorial Walk of Honor, located in Hagerstown City Park, creating a lasting tribute within a space dedicated to reflection, remembrance, and appreciation.

The deadline to order bricks is July 1, 2026.One dedication is permitted per brickA completed order form is required for each purchase
The official unveiling of the newly installed bricks will take place during the Remembrance in the Park Ceremony on September 8, 2026.

This campaign provides a unique and lasting way to recognize service, preserve memories, and contribute to a place that honors the dedication and sacrifice of emergency service personnel.
