HAGERSTOWN, MD (January 21, 2026) – The Washington County Highway Department announces an immediate road closure on Garis Shop Road, between Poffenberger Road and Wagaman Road, due to a fire incident.
Emergency crews are on scene, and the road will remain closed until it is safe to reopen. Please avoid the area, use alternate routes, and follow directions from emergency personnel.
