Black Rock Golf Course Wins Best Golf Course in Tristate Area

HAGERSTOWN, MD (April 30, 2019) – Washington County Government is proud to announce Black Rock Golf Course was named as the Best Golf Course in the Best of the Tristate Awards presented by VerStanding Media. Black Rock Golf Course is a county-owned 18-hole course that features sculptured fairways, excellent greens, an outstanding practice facility and spectacular scenery.

VerStanding Media presents Best of the Tristate 2019 by asking the people to vote for the best local businesses, places and organizations around the Tristate (West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania). The awards are arranged in six categories:

  • Food and Beverage
  • Arts and Entertainment
  • Health and Fitness
  • Community
  • Services
  • Shopping

Black Rock Golf Course was selected as 1st place in Best Golf Course under the Arts and Entertainment category. Penn National Golf Club received 2nd place and Sleepy Hollow Country Club received Runner-Up.
