Traffic Alert: Road Closures Due to High Water

HAGERSTOWN, MD (March 22, 2019) – The Washington County Highway Department announces the following road closures due to high water:

  • Bakersville Rd. between Sprecher Rd. and Tommytown Rd.
  • Sandy Hook Rd. between Keep Tryst Rd. and Hoffmaster Rd.

The following road has reopened after being temporarily closed due to high water and debris:

  • Valley Rd. between Garrett’s Mill Rd. and Rt. 340

Stay up-to-date on Washington County road closures by visiting our road closure map.

The County encourages all citizens to remain off the roads listed above. Citizens are also advised to refrain from driving through standing water.
