Liberal Leave is in effective for Washington County Government

HAGERSTOWN, MD (February 5, 2025) – Due to impending inclement weather and Washington County Public Schools operating on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, February 6, 2025, Washington County Government announces that liberal leave will be in effect until 10:00 a.m. for all non-essential employees on Thursday, February 6, 2025. Essential personnel are expected to report as scheduled and fulfill their duties as usual.

The County urges anyone who must travel to exercise caution on roadways. If driving is necessary, please ensure your vehicle is fully cleared, drive slowly, use caution, and avoid crowding or passing snowplows.
