Hagerstown Regional Airport Increases Number of Summer Flights

HAGERSTOWN, MD (February 16, 2024) – Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) is thrilled to announce additions to its summer flight schedule to Orlando-Sanford and St. Pete-Clearwater now three days a week as well as expanded service through November to Myrtle Beach and service in October and November to St. Pete-Clearwater. These enhancements mark a significant expansion, with a 20% increase in available flights compared to the previous year of 2023.

In addition, during 2023, HGR experienced a commendable 6% growth rate compared to 2022, setting the stage for even more growth in the upcoming summer of 2024.

  • Flights to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) from HGR will resume on Friday, May 24, 2024. Beginning the week of June 6, 2024 flights to Myrtle Beach will increase to four per week and run through the end of August. While normally these flights end around Labor Day, in 2024 flights to Myrtle Beach will remain available at two flights per week between September and November 2024.
  • Flights to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) from HGR currently run through August 13, 2024. Between June 23, 2024, and August 13, 2024, the two weekly flights are increased to three weekly flights! Flights will resume again on October 3, 2024, at two per week.
  • Flights to Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) from HGR continue to be offered year-round. Between June 17, 2024 – August 12, 2024, the two weekly flights are increased to three weekly flights!

This new schedule represents a new air service peak for HGR, with summer flights reaching ten per week.
