WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD (September 9, 2025) – The Washington County Board of County Commissioners has approved awarding the contract for the Concrete Foundation of the Fire Training Burn Building to Rockwell Construction Co., Inc. of Mercersburg, PA, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, in the amount of $350,596.30.

This foundation project is a key component of the Public Safety Training Center’s tactical village, which is currently under phased construction at 18350 Public Safety Place. The tactical village will feature a variety of training props, structures, and facilities to replicate real-world conditions for law enforcement, fire, and emergency services personnel.
