Be Counted in History – Complete the 2020 Census!

HAGERSTOWN, MD (September 25, 2020) – Washington County Government reminds citizens only five days remain to complete the 2020 Census. The 2020 Census must be completed no later than September 30, 2020 .

Today we are focusing on the historical importance of the Census. Did you know that Census information is valuable to genealogical research? Many historians and genealogists use the Census as a resource to help trace invisible stories of common people.
