HAGERSTOWN, MD (November 6, 2026) – The Washington County Highway Department announces a temporary road closure on Wishard Road on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to accommodate pipe replacement work.
The closure will affect Wishard Road between Maryland Route 494 and a point approximately 1.5 miles north of Route 494.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and use caution when traveling in the area. The County appreciates the public’s patience and understanding while this work is completed.
