HAGERSTOWN, MD (November 3, 2026) – The Washington County Highway Department announces a temporary road closure on Poffenberger Road to through traffic at the one lane bridge tomorrow, Wednesday, November 4, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to complete the tree removal.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes and plan accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate the public’s patience and understanding.
