Maryland State Police Aviation Command Training Scheduled at Washington County Public Safety Training Center

HAGERSTOWN, MD (February 11, 2026) – The Washington County Division of Emergency Services would like to inform the public that Maryland State Police Aviation Command will be conducting scheduled training exercises at the Washington County Public Safety Training Center on multiple dates in February and March.

Training will take place on the following dates and times:

February (8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.)

  • February 16
  • February 19
  • February 23
  • February 25

March (5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.)

  • March 2
  • March 4
  • March 9
  • March 10
  • March 12
  • March 17

During these timeframes, residents in the surrounding area may notice increased aviation activity. This is a planned training exercise and there is no cause for alarm.

This information is being shared as a courtesy to keep our neighboring businesses and venues informed. The Washington County Division of Emergency Services appreciates the public’s understanding as partner agencies conduct essential preparedness training to support public safety operations.
