| HAGERSTOWN, MD (January 26, 2026) – The Washington County Department of Business and Economic Development invites residents and visitors to attend the 2026 Groundhog Day Celebration on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center, located at 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro, MD. This popular winter event welcomes over 350 attendees and highlights the strength and diversity of Washington County’s agricultural community. The event will feature live acoustic entertainment by Mike Newberry of Wake the Neighbors and More More More, as well as family-friendly activities, product sampling opportunities, and a comfortable indoor venue that encourages consistent attendance and engagement.
