HAGERSTOWN, MD (December 9, 2025) – The Washington County Department of Business and Economic Development is seeking sponsors for the 2026 Groundhog Day Celebration, scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center, located at 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro, MD.
This annual winter event welcomes more than 350 attendees and celebrates Washington County’s agricultural community through local food, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to shop directly from area producers. The celebration features live music, children’s activities, product sampling, and a warm indoor venue that draws consistent foot traffic.
