Bid Deadline/Opening – ITB – Trego Road and Trego Mountain Culvert Replacements Project

The Trego Road and Trego Mountain Road Culvert Replacements project work is generally described as the replacement of an existing bridge on Trego Road with a 15 ft x 5.5 ft precast concrete box culvert and a culvert slipline of an existing structure. On Trego Mountain the project involves the replacement of an existing metal culvert with a concrete culvert at two locations. Additional work includes concrete headwalls, placement of riprap, asphalt paving and traffic barrier installation. All work on this project shall be done in accordance with the MSHA Specifications. This Project Classification is Cost Group Letter Class “C,” $500,001 to $1,000,000.
Qualified Contractors may obtain plans and specifications from the Division of Engineering and Construction Management, County Administrative Annex, 80 West Baltimore Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740-6003, between 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., (Telephone 240-313-2460), upon a NON-REFUNDABLE fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each complete set. For mail requests, which must be made in writing, an additional Thirty-five Dollars ($35.00) per set must be included, along with a full mailing address, contact person with e-mail address, and phone / fax number. All checks for bidding documents shall be made payable to the Washington County Treasurer. If a Contractor wishes to supply a FedEx or UPS account number in lieu of the additional mailing fee, this is acceptable. Payment must be received before bid documents can be mailed.
A Pre-Bid Conference for the project will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. local time in a conference room at the Division of Engineering and Construction Management, County Administrative Annex, 80 West Baltimore Street, Hagerstown, MD. All prospective Bidders are encouraged to attend.
