Hagerstown Community College (HCC) was founded in 1946 as Maryland’s first community college. More than 100 programs of study are available for university transfer, career preparation, or personal development, as well as non-credit continuing education courses, customized training programs and Washington County’s adult education program. Barbara Ingram School for the Arts is a magnet high school that opened its doors for gifted art students in August 2009. Currently there are eight different majors: Theatre, Musical Theatre, Technical Theatre, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, Dance, Literary Arts, and Visual Arts.

PIA’s specialized Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) and Aviation Electronics Technology (AET) programs provide hands on skill-sets based on aviation industry practices, but transferable into a diverse set of related occupations. Our aviation maintenance program will prepare you for an exciting career as a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified aircraft mechanic, and our aviation electronics (or avionics) program leads to opportunities as a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) licensed avionics technician.

The National Association has 69 Chapters throughout the Nation. The Cumberland Valley Chapter is one of these chapters and serves over 125-member companies in the tri-state area. The Cumberland Valley Chapter is dedicated to assisting its members to grow and prosper.
