COME VISIT OUR PARKS: Camp Harding Park located in the western section of the county, between Clear Spring and Hancock off of U.S. Route 40, turn right on Pecktonville Road. Chestnut Grove Park located in the southern section of the county near Chestnut Grove Road. Clear Spring Park located at the former Clear Spring High School site along Martin Street. Devil's Backbone Park located south of Hagerstown, along Route 68 near Lappan's Crossroads. Doub's Woods Park located in the south end of Hagerstown at 1307 South Potomac Street is home to the Washington County Buildings, Grounds & Parks Department. Historic Wilson Bridge Picnic Area has the oldest and longest stone arch bridge in the county. Located approximately seven miles west of Hagerstown off of Route 40, beside the Hagerstown Race Track. Little Antietam Watershed located off Route 67 on Marble Quarry Road is undeveloped parkland. Martin "Marty" L. Snook Memorial Park located at the north side of I-70, east of Bower Avenue overpass. Mt. Briar Wetland Preserve located along Millbrook Road off Route 67 is a great place for environmental studies and bird watching. Pen Mar Park located in the northeastern section of the county has the Appalachian Trail running through it. Pinesburg Softball Complex located near Williamsport. Pleasant Valley Park is located in the southern section of the county. Piper Lane Neighborhood Park is located off of Halfway Boulevard along Piper Lane and York Road. Washington County Agricultural Education Center is located South of Hagerstown. Washington County Regional Park is located on Mt. Aetna Road near Black Rock Golf Course. Woodland Way Park is located at the former Woodland Way School.
