Welcome to the Washington County Stormwater Management Program
Public Works Land Development manages
the County's Stormwater Management Program by reviewing, approving, and inspecting all
stormwater management ponds constructed. This program also includes ongoing follow-up
maintenance inspections and the maintaining of a comprehensive data base which includes
detailed information for all stormwater management structures in the County.
MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of Washington County's Stormwater Management Program is to educate the public and to protect, maintain and enhance public health, safety and general welfare by protecting water quality and reducing local flooding associated with the effects of land development through the use of best management practices.
