Public Works Capital Projects plans, designs and inspects capital improvement projects for Washington County. Buildings, roads, bridges, drainage facilities, parks, traffic signalization, and railroad crossings are various types of capital improvement projects. Public Works Capital Projects is also responsible for determining funding sources, local, state and federal; managing the expenditures; and performing final project closeout.
MISSION:
To provide direction for orderly and cost effective development that supports the Washington County economy while assuring the maintenance and expansion of the infrastructure needed to serve it.
