The Washington County Commissioners, in cooperation with the Washington County Free Library Board of Trustees, plan to renovate and expand the central/regional library for Washington County, Maryland.  The library is located at 100 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.  The Commissioners and the Trustees anticipate the project entailing renovation of the existing building which consists of approximately 44,500 square feet and new expansion construction of approximately 47,500 square feet with site improvements and related construction.
