COUNTY SEEKS PUBLIC INPUT ON SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLING
The Washington County Department of Planning and Community Development, and the County’s Division of Environmental Management-Solid Waste, is in the process of developing a new ten-year plan for the handling of solid waste and recycling of material that could impact the solid waste stream.
Public input meetings are being held for your ideas, comments, and input at these locations:
Tuesday May 19th at 7pm
in Hancock’s Town Hall Community Center Auditorium on West High Street
Thursday, May 21st at 1pm
in the County Annex Building at 80 West Baltimore Street, in HagerstownFor more information citizens may all the Washington County Planning Department at 240-313-2430, or the recycling Coordinator at 240-313-2796.
