Responsibilities of the Gaming Office:
  • Provide accountability of the tip jar sales within the County
  • Issue wholesale, operator, and temporary licenses for selling tip jars within the County
  • Administer State Statute and Washington County Rules and Regulations
  • Assess fines, penalties, and denials
  • Suspend and revoke licenses under certain circumstances
  • Maintain reports from licensees on all tip jar sales and operations
  • Collect monies and administer The Washington County Gaming Fund
  • Provide professional advise and support to the Washington County Gaming Commission 
  • Issue Coin Operated Amusement licenses
  • Issue Bingo licenses
